I was delighted when I discovered Bambooware. I thought eco friendly was going to mean drab cardboard colored plates with beige napkins. I recognize that Bambooware is more expensive, however I was determined to offer my customers an alternative to the cheap plastic plates that are petroleum based and create land fill. Bambooware are sturdy, biodegradable, party plates that are actually elegant and sophisticated. You will love their texture and the detail in the grain. I wash  mine by hand so I can use them again, however they are intended for single use. Once disposed they bio-degrade after 4-6 months. Imagine they are made from the stalks of the bamboo plant which does not impact the plant itself - sustainable.
