Is wooden cutlery sustainable?
 Any renewable resource is considered sustainable. Our cutlery is grown from replanted/harvested birch forests. Our product and forests are F.S.C. (Forest Stewardship Council) Certified. That is THE HIGHEST seal of approval of sustainability that a wooden product can obtain.

Precious water/irrigation is NOT diverted to grow our trees
Food resources are not being  used to make a consumable.... our trees are NOT genetically altered
Trees grow tall as opposed to corn or potatoes that may take up more land to grow
This is NOT a composite product, it is solid wood. 
Unlike bio-plastic our cutlery WILL NOT turn to mush in the box if exposed to heat or moisture.
